What is “Mysore Style” practice?
Mysore-style is a self-paced, teacher-supported way of learning Ashtanga Yoga. Each student practices at their own rhythm while the teacher gives individual guidance, adjustments, and new postures as appropriate. It’s the traditional and most effective way to learn the method.

No. Beginners are welcome. You’ll learn the sequence gradually, step by step. Over time you’ll develop confidence and independence in your practice.
Why do we practice early in the morning?

Yes — communicate with the teacher. Adjustments and modifications will be given so you can continue safely. Ashtanga practice can be adapted for all stages of life and health.
What if I’m menstruating?
Many women choose to rest or modify practice during menstruation, especially avoiding deep backbends and strong inversions. Listen to your body and discuss with your teacher if unsure.

Traditionally, six days per week with rest on Saturdays (and Moon Days). Beginners may start with 2–3 days and build gradually.
