Sunday Sangha Series;
A monthly gathering for practice, study, conversation, and community.
These Sundays are an opportunity to step beyond the rhythm of the weekday Mysore room and spend a fuller day together in practice. Each gathering begins with traditional Mysore-style self-practice, followed by a shared vegetarian brunch and an afternoon workshop exploring different aspects of yoga practice and philosophy.
The intention is simple: to create a welcoming practice community rooted in sincerity, curiosity, discipline, and friendship.
All levels are welcome, though some prior yoga experience is helpful for the Mysore mornings.

1:00pm-1:45pm Brunch
1:45pm–3:00pm - Back-Bending Workshop
Backbending: Strength, Space & Fearlessness
An afternoon dedicated to intelligent and sustainable backbending practice.
Rather than chasing dramatic shapes, we will explore:
spinal mechanics
shoulder opening
hip extension
breath and bandha support
strength and stability
working skillfully with fear and tension
The workshop will include progressive drills, partner work, and approaches adaptable for different bodies and levels of experience.
Suitable for all practitioners, including those who find backbending challenging or uncomfortable.
