Pukka Transitions
A playful exploration of floating, folding, hopping, threading, dangling, balancing, wobbling, and occasionally landing with grace.
This class is all about the space between the postures - the sneaky transitions, unusual entries, soft landings, and moments of lift that make practice feel light, creative, and alive. Expect arm balances, inversions, jump-throughs, step-throughs, and plenty of opportunities to experiment without taking yourself too seriously.
The word pukka comes from the Hindi/Urdu pakka, meaning “solid,” “authentic,” “proper,” or “well-made.” In British slang it evolved to mean “excellent” or “top quality”, which feels appropriate for those rare transitions that somehow come together effortlessly… usually after falling out of them many times first.
Suitable for curious practitioners who enjoy exploring movement, building confidence upside down, and discovering that the journey between poses can be just as interesting as the poses themselves.
